    Hiya, nice one dude.

You know Centreforce FM is actually back on air, has been for months - “88.4 you know the score” - all the original DJ’s and even the naff jingles. They’re back!

Most importantly they’re playing ALL the old music.

88.FM - make sure you catch the Kenny Ken shows.

They’ve even got a myspace page up, with links to loads of shows with all the old stuff.

    Let’s go!

I listen to my 2 tapes all the time while driving in Los Angeles, people look at me nuts when it says “its 2.20 pm on fantasy fm”, and it’s actually 6.30 am on the Ventura freeway.
    Peace

I remember DJ Hype on Fantasy scratching with Frankie Knuckles ‘Tears’ over a House Track called Come Get my Lovin by Dion. I taped it. It was my pride and Joy - Lost it. Did anyone record that??

I’d forgotten the page! Page in! I remember many nights calling the pagers of the pirates to get the shouts. Those operators must surely have thought us mad :) How technology has advanced :)

Hey Sharon dr.lloyd calling from France right here. that tune is by Seduction and it is called called Groove Me, 89 or 90 I think, superb shitt, accessible yet so raw, I’ve got it on some videomixes we did here if you are interested.

Hi everyone else, anyone else can help me with a request. We used to listen to Fantasy tapes every Friday night heading from Glasgow to go to Pure in Edinburgh. There was one tape where the DJ says TO ALL OUR FOLLOWERS…RESPECT. It did my head in so bad we lost that tape.

Lordy - blast from the past. Was stuck in Ireland for most of the rave years but we had fun too :) Fantasy Radio tapes used to be passed around a lot!

I’d love to get my hands on one in particular - all I can remember (and my memory is patchy at best :) ) is it had “Mr. Kirks’ Nightmare” on it.

If anyone knows where I can get more to check out - please post here.

go on, leave a cheeky comment...
