hi all. thanks for all the comment re the last mixes. hope you enjoy the latest one. the fro-disia dance jazz session at the hilton soul weekender was the best so far and the guys and i are really chuffed

01. 12 fingers ft viviane cruz - ‘reis & priatas’. irma records italy. this is from the 7th excellent irma compilation series ’sister bossa’.

02. nicola conte & his group - ‘paper clouds’ (uptempo mix). schema records italy 2008. new it would not be long before remixes of tracks from his ‘rituals’ album came out and this is from the first batch.the remix of  ‘groovy samba’ is good as well.

03. aaron tesser & the new jazz affair - ‘full sail soulship’ irma records italy 2008. from the album ‘looking ahead’ great album this for all of those who like their bossa nujazz. loads of vocal tracks we have previously featured the track ‘everlasting rose’ that is also included on the new album .

04. jazbeat - ‘i got a girl’. from the album jazzbeat 2004 nocturn label. jazzy blend of funk and jazz.

05. the bahama soul club - ‘nassau jam’smoove’s funky jam remix. 2008 this band go from strenth to strength and they were also responsible for the recent brenda boykin release that has done well on the dancefloor. nassau jam was already a great track from the album ‘rhythm is what makes jazz jazz’ but i like this even better.

06. double beat -  ‘grab it’ 2004 big sur recordings italy.personal fave funky track from the album international funk music.

07. mo’horizons - ‘oya bossa’ 2008 ‘ten years of mo’horizons’. re-released on a tribute comp so gives me chance to play this great uptepo bossa track.

08. yukihiro fukitumi - ‘play back’ (orig mix). 2002. great uptempo dancefloor track.

09. ananda project - ‘free me’

10. quasimode – ‘the land of freedom’ yukihiro fukutomi  remix. love this uptempo dance remix.

11. gerardo frisina ‘intenso’.schema records italy. released on a 12” in 2001 but then added to his excellent ‘hi note’ album 2004.

12. hajime yoshizawa - ‘celebration’ ft navasha daya. from the ‘japan’ album. another great japanese release check out the other daya vocal on that album ‘time’

13. quasimode - ‘dance of the little children’ 2nd track from them this time featuring the great voice of dwight trible. this band is constantly at the forefront of japanese jazz

14. freddie hubbard - ‘gibraltar’. in honour of the great man himself and the wonderful jazz he created, my personal favourite track
